Exciting Spring in Prather's Class
Submitted by Janie Prather, Livingston High School

Livingston High School - Spring is always busy at any high school, but LHS seems to be extra busy this spring. With all the spring sports, UIL academic events, FFA events, preparation for TAKS, ACT and SAT testing, prom, fund rasing events for Relay for Life, class field trips, and banquets, there is no end in site. Mrs. Prather's class is no exception to this rule. This week students in Mrs. Prather's class have been extra busy working in the classroom and at jobsites, visiting the Trinity-Neches FFA & 4-H Livestock Show, eating lunch at Florida's Kitchen, working on funraisers, and are looking forward to going to the Toyota Center in Houston next week to see Walking With Dinosaurs-The Live Experience. Today, students had a special treat. Dr. Myers and Coach Rowe took time out of their schedules to visit our class. Thank you, Dr. Myers and Coach Rowe, for all the great work you are doing for our school!
