UIL Academic District Champs!
Submitted by Deana Evans, Livingston High School

Livingston High School - The LHS Academic Team returned victoriously from Huntsville HS on Saturday, March 29th as the District 18 4A Sweepstakes Champion!  LHS had a total of 325 points edging out the competition with an overall TEAM effort.  In UIL, the District Championship is figured by adding up points won for each individual and team placing.  To the points won by the normal academic events, the district championship adds the points from earlier competitions in CX Debate and One-Act Play making it a true SCHOOL VICTORY.  For the past two years, LHS has been the runner-up at the District Meet but this year, (the final year in District 18 4A), LHS came away the winner.  Final school totals were:

Livingston H S 325
