Desktop Publishing Students Work on Cool Projects
Submitted by Judy Powell, Livingston High School

Livingston High School - Students in Mrs. Powell's Desktop Publishing class have been learning tools of graphic design all year. Graphic design is the process and art of combining text and graphics, and communicating an effective message in the design of logos, graphics, brochures, newsletters, posters, signs, and other types of visual communication. Students will use the design elements they've learned to produce several projects including: personal stationery and mailing labels, personal business cards, cookbook covers, CD case inserts, postcards and brochures. Shown here are students working on CD case inserts.
