Texas, Our Texas!
Submitted by Janie Prather, Livingston High School

Livingston High School - In celebration of our study on Texas History, students in Mrs. Prather's class enjoyed a special reading by Decil Burns, LHS senior. Decil read The Cowboy and the Black-Eyed Pea by Tony Johnston. Students thoroughly enjoyed Decil's melodramatic reading of the book. We are sure that some day Decil will make a fine Texas cowboy!
