Timber Creek Elementary- Our class has been studying about plants and seeds.  We did an experiment using lima beans where we soaked a set of lima beans for 24 hours and then laid a set of dry lima beans on wet paper towels to see which set would sprout first.  Both sets were placed in ziploc bags and we watched and waited.  Our conclusion was the soaked lima bean sprouted first, in 2 days.  We also planted sunflower and marigold seeds and are taking our little plants home today.
