Strong ESL Programs are a Priority in LISD
Submitted by Gregg Faith, LISD Public Information Officer
Livingston ISD - Members of the Livingston ISD Administrative faculty met with Christina Woods, of the Region VI Service center, during a special conference on Thursday, December 6, 2007. The purpose of this informative meeting was to analyze the current Livingston ISD ESL (English as a Second Language) offerings and to look at ways in which we can improve these programs.
The day-long conference brought together counselors, principals, instructional specialists, and district level administrators to brainstorm ideas and share ways in which we can enhance and further our goals of providing quality classroom instruction to our non-native English speaking students.
