Diboll (game 19, record 6-13, district 5-10)
Tuesday Mar 10th, the Livingston Lions Boys’ soccer team traveled to Diboll to take on the Lumberjacks.  The Lions came out a little sluggish. However, the Lions got their feet under them and dominated in a very physical game. Cirilo Moreno and Gus Swilley each scored twice and Oscar Pastor and Melesio Balderas each connected on penalty kicks to give the Lions a hard fought 6-0 victory.

Henderson (Game 20 Record 10-10-0 District 6-8)
Livingston traveled to Henderson to take on the Lady Lions. Henderson came out strong from the beginning not showing any mercy until the last horn sounded. Livingston was unable to get many good shots off which prevented a goal the entire game. Henderson’s offense continuously pounded the Livingston defense and were able to get 9 goals. There was an outstanding number of saves put up by Ashlee Pitmann to keep the score at 9-0.

Diboll (Game 21 Record11-10-0 District 7-8)
Livingston made the short drive to Diboll to take on the Lady Lumberjacks. The Lady Lions took several strong shots before Hannah Rudebusch put a strong shot through the back of the net. The Lady Lions were again able to try new positions to become more comfortable with their versatility. Britney Ingle was able to trade in her defensive spot for a midfielders position and was very successful at making the transition. Breanna Shuler was able to add one additional goal before the half. Both teams were unable to score the second half, which left the score in Livingston’s favor 2-0.
