Brenda Randolph Named to LISD Apple Corps
Submitted by Gregg Faith, LISD Communications Department, November 20, 2008
LISD - One of the primary goals of schools is to promote the well being of our students, through education, socialization, and in many cases nutrition. Many of our students receive two out of three meals from our school cafeterias each day, and for some of them, their sole source of nutrition comes from the breakfast and lunch they receive in our cafeteria lines. Each day, our cafeterias provide more meals than any restaurant in Livingston to thousands of students, and therefore we must maintain a high level of cleanliness and have a staff that works well together and accomplishes this monumental task. November’s Apple Corps inductee is one of those hard workers who has worked hard to make Livingston Intermediate School’s cafeteria one of the best.

Brenda Randolph is the mother of three children, Trishunda Fagan, Cornesha and Jasmine Randolph. She has three grandsons and she is a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
Brenda is the vegetable cook at Livingston Intermediate School where she has been working for eight years. Brenda says that she has good days and bad days at work, but she is still standing and provides her coworkers with frequent smiles and inspiration. Brenda loves her job and the people she works with and she believes with God on our side it shouldn’t take much for each one of us to love each other.
Brenda is described by her co-workers as positive and productive, with a strong work ethic and a willingness to do her job well with few complaints. She is said to always have a good attitude about whatever task she is assigned and is wonderful around the kids and staff members. She is part of a Livingston Intermediate cafeteria staff that is known for keeping their cafeteria clean, orderly, and positive. Brenda’s warm spirit and good attitude lifts up her co-workers and helps everyone that comes through the cafeteria line to feel a little better about their day.
Having a positive spirit, a strong work ethic, and the determination to lift up those around her is what makes Brenda Randolph a valuable asset to our community and our school district. Livingston ISD is proud this month to induct Brenda Randolph into the LISD Apple Corps.
