Why we Lion Report?
The Livingston Independent School District is yours. It belongs to the students, the parents, and the community. The Lion Report is our way of reaching our many members through positive communication and ideas to make life better for our local young people. In Livingston, our greatest strength is our community, and we want everyone to be able to share in the power of education and the local schools. Enjoy this daily gift to you and the good news about our local young people. |

Are there dinosaurs at TCE?
Submitted by Kim Munson, Timber Creek Elementary
TCE - Are dinosaurs on the loose at Timber Creek Elementary? The paleontologists of TCE (aka 2nd graders) are working hard to decide which dinosaurs made an unexpected appearance in their classrooms this week. Students returned to class to find footprints of dinosaurs on their papers. Much like the Kindergarteners on their quest to find "The Gingerbread Boy", the students were eager to find the dinosaurs.
After much thinking, the scientists remembered that dinosaurs are extinct and that they must use the clues of the past to learn about the dinosaurs. Thinking like true scientists, the students began finding similarities and differences in the prints that were left. The paleontologists are continuing to work hard to put together all they know about life from the past.

cup butterscotch chips, melted |
| 1 |
container (1 lb) Betty Crocker® Rich & Creamy chocolate frosting |

Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Make and bake cake mix as directed on box for 24 cupcakes, using water, oil and eggs. Cool 10 minutes; remove from pan to cooling racks. Cool completely, about 30 minutes. |
