Sharks Show Great Citizenship
Submitted by Michelle Casas, Livingston Intermediate School, October 10, 2008
Livingston Intermediate School - This week the Shark Team participated in the L.I.S.D. book drive for Bridge City Schools. The Bridge City School was damaged during Hurricane and Ike and lost many of their children's books. The students were asked to go home, look through their books that they finished reading and willing to donate to the school in need. The response was great. These students brought books everyday with a smile on their face. Earlier this year, the Sharks learned what it meant to be a good citizen, and this week they had a chance to show great citizenship.

Great Behavior in the Classroom - October 2008

Pine Ridge Elementary
Ansleigh Brister is a great student.  She always has a positive attitude and comes prepared for class.  Way to go Ansleigh! - Third Grade, Hattie Criswell

Livingston High School
Rebecca Roberson volunteered to be the band librarian and took over the task of reorganizing the band library, which had become a huge mess. People had rummaged through the room looking for things and neglected to put things back where they belonged.  Rebecca worked most of the summer and has since gotten the library organized and clean.  She is always available to find what I need and works hard to provide the Royal Brigade with adequate copies of their music.  She is a wonderful help. – Band, Eleventh Grade, David Powell

Livingston High School
Roman Olvera has really worked hard since being chosen as one of the Drum Majors for the Royal Brigade.  He is dedicated and wants to help make the band a superior group.  He is really a STAR. – Band, 12th Grade, David Powell

Timber Creek Elementary
Caroline Harrison is such a sweetheart!  She is a great friend to her classmates, and such a big helper to her teacher! - First Grade, Mandi Pipes
