Gingerbread Man Escapes!
Submitted by Gayle Colburn, Timber Creek Elementary
On Friday, August 31, the students in Mrs. Colburn’s class listened to the story “The Gingerbread Man.” Then the students decorated a gingerbread man cake with icing and raisins. While the students were out of the room, the Gingerbread Man ran away! When the students returned and found him missing, a search party was organized. While on their search, they meet the counselor, nurse, office staff, principal and assistant principal. The Gingerbread Man was eventually found in the office with Mr. Rice. When the students returned to class, they ate gingerbread and wrote stories about their adventure.
