Each year, the LISD Green and White Scholarship Program provides many of our graduating seniors financial support to help further their educations at colleges/universities and vocational schools. Last year over $600,000 was awarded to graduating LHS seniors. Awards are based on financial need, academic qualifications, school community involvement, work ethic, etc. A scholarship booklet is distributed to seniors in the Fall and will provide students with information about the available scholarships as well as an application. Completed applications will then be released to various scholarship committees who will decide which students will receive an award. Every year, in May, Honors Night is held to award our graduating seniors with scholarships for their hard work and commitment to continue their education beyond High School.

Important Dates for the Class of 2014:

*Green & White Scholarship booklets for the 2014 graduating class will be distributed by the high school counselors in November 2013.  

* Fall semester scholarship checks for the class of 2013 will be mailed in September 2013.

                                                                                                     

Important Dates for Current Bergman, Davison-Webster Scholarship Recipients-Fall 2013 Semester:

Please provide:

  1. An official class schedule for the Fall 2013 semester (12 hours minimum);
  2. A receipt (copy permitted) showing at least a partial out-of-pocket payment toward housing, tuition, and/or fees for the college or the vocational school you are attending;
  3. Copy of Spring 2013 GPA or unofficial transcript;
  4. Fill out, sign and mail this FORM to the Green & White Scholarship Program PO Box 1297, Livingston, TX 77351

Due no later than September 13, 2013

 

*** It is extrememly crucial for former scholarship recipients to update their information as soon as possible in the event of a change of address, telephone number, or email address.  If we are unable to locate you, your scholarship check can be delayed. Please complete the Update Your Information Form and submit as soon as there is a change.
