We are very excited about your interest in the Livingston Independent School District and have assembled the information in this brochure to help you get aquainted with our district.

The administration, faculty, and staff are dedicated to every student from “Crayons to Careers” as we work to make sure that all of our learners have the best opportunities at each level of education. The Livingston Independent School District encompasses 306 square miles in Polk County, which is one of the fastest growing counties in Texas.

The district currently serves over 4,100 students on five campuses with over 600 employees. We offer strong core academic programs, a wide variety of athletics and fine arts to meet the needs of all of our students. We also offer many vocational opportunities and have a thriving scholarship program. Please tour our website for more detailed information about our various departments and programs.

Please contact our Department of Human Resources at 936-328-2104 if you are in need of more information or if you have any questions. We look forward to meeting and visiting with you in the future!

Sincerely,

Dr. Darrell Myers
Livingston ISD Superintendent
