Are you interested in substituting for LISD? 

Follow these easy steps:

  1. Download a Substitute Teacher Application from our website at www.livingstonisd.com
  2. Bring completed application and the following required documents for application processing on designated dates: Driver’s License, Social Security Card, and a copy of proof of highest degree of education (HS diploma/GED or college transcripts)
  3. Attend a substitute orientation and training on selected date at
    LISD Administrative Office, 1412 S. Houston
  4. Collect ID badge and register with the Aesop Sub-Finder System
  5. Review and accept jobs with Aesop and start substituting!

Aesop Sub-Finder System
Livingston ISD uses a program called “AESOP” to help manage substitutes for campus employees.  AESOP is a substitute teacher automated replacement system that allows the district employees and substitutes to use both the internet and phone to fill campus absences.
