I have been working in the technology dept. at Livingston ISD since August of 2006, and am assigned as the tech to Livingston Junior High. The variety of the work and the challenging aspect of solving problems is my favorite part of working in the technology field. I have always been interested in computers and technology. My first computer was a Timex Sinclair 1000. It was the size of a mouse pad and used a TV for a monitor. I started writing programs for a Sigma 7 at U of H in 1968. I started working on large mainframe process computers for Houston Lighting & Power in 1974. I have been working on, programming, repairing and building them ever since. Helping the administrators, the teachers and the students of the Junior High with their technology needs is a very satisfying aspect of my job, and I have been fortunate to work with a really good group of people.
