Congratulations Kaden Mueck and Lane Ward!

Kaden Mueck and Lane Ward earned 1st place team in the SETX Bass Tournament on March 18! They weighed in the largest bag in SETX history at 33.40 lbs, and Lane won the Big Bass at 9.34 lbs. The tournament had over 450 high school teams. This fishing duo of LHS seniors has had a great year in both SETX and Bass Nation High School Series. In addition to their first-place win over the weekend, they also placed 2nd on February 18 at Toledo Bend SETX and earned 4th place in a SETX tournament held on February 4 at Sam Rayburn. They have logged four wins in the Bass Nation High School Series against 100 teams.

Kaden has been nominated for the Bassmaster High School All-American Fishing Team, which recognizes the 12 most outstanding high school anglers in the nation. He has received an honorable mention recognition for the last two years and placed 2nd in the State Championship Fishing Tournament last year.
