The Mane Book Cafe

Mrs. Ege's Freshmen English classes were treated to a book tasting, a quick sampling of reading and critiquing of novels at the Mane Book Cafe held in the high school's learning commons.  Chef Boyd-ar-read welcomed the guests to the trendy cafe while Hostess with the Mostest Sarah Ege helped the students select a genre of choice. 

Students were given the opportunity to taste four different genres with the goal to select different cultural, historical, and contemporary reads. Later, students will return to the library to select from their favorite tastings allowing them to further read on their own.
