Portrait Presentation

The LISD instructional staff met for a training session this afternoon. The session opened with a presentation by Superintendent Dr. Brent Hawkins acknowledging the efforts of the Polk County Sheriff's Office as the lead agency during the search and recovery of LISD 5th-grader Audrii Cunningham.

Hawkins presented Sheriff Byron Lyons with a forensic portrait of Audrii by artist Johnny Castro of the Philadelphia Police Department. Creekside Elementary School Principal Deanna Willmann was also presented with a portrait to display on campus. The portrait will follow Audrii's classmates in the Class of 2031 and be moved to Livingston Junior High next year as they enter the 6th grade and continue to Livingston High School when they enter the 9th grade.
