Safe Schools Modules
Mandatory training modules for all staff have been posted and activated on the Safeschools Training software which may be found under the ‘Employee Quick Links’ section of the Staff Page on the Livingston ISD website.
Employees may go to the District’s web page, click on the ‘Staff’ header and choose ‘Staff Page’. When the staff page comes up, look under the ‘Employee Quick Links’ section on the left and choose ‘Safeschools login’. Employees should use their employee ID# as the user id and as the password for logging into the Safeschools system.
All employees should complete the modules which are annotated with their duty position. For the purposes of this training all diagnosticians and counselors are categorized with either Teacher Elementary or Teacher Secondary, all AP’s, Principals, Directors and Administrators are categorized as Administrator, and LVNs and RNs are categorized as Nurse Trainer.
Other personnel training categories include Technician, Instructional Aide, Bus Driver, Secretary/Clerk, Bus Aide, and Custodian. Please make sure when you log on to train that your training category is appropriate for your position as listed above.
Employees who complete all of the mandatory training modules on their own time (not during their regular work day/hours) by August 17, 2015 will be eligible to take a Comp Day on the staff workday of Friday, August 21, 2015. Bus drivers and bus aides must coordinate with Transportation Director Tammie Smith to arrange to use their earned comp day as a leave day during the year. Custodians and maintenance personnel must coordinate with Director Randy Gates for the date to be used for their comp day, whether or another date.
