A current copy of your electric bill will be required for all returning and new students.
Please include each student's first and last name on the submitted copy of your light bill.
You will be able to upload your current electric bill during the Online Registration process.
*If you do not have an electric bill in your name there is an alternate form you will need to fill out.

For Returning LISD Students
Login to your Active Parent Portal
If you need to change any data on your student, you will be able to make those changes.
You will only see the documents for the new school year, you will not have to redo all of the forms that LISD requires.
Once you have completed the process, you will receive a verification message. You may opt to print the confirmation sheet but it is not required.
Classroom assignments and class schedules will not be released until the registration and residency verification process is complete.
For New LISD Students
If you are new to LISD, you will need to create a Parent Portal Account

Step 1: If you are enrolling a new student in Grades 1-5 you will need to fill out a campus placement form.

You will be notified of which campus you are assigned by email.
If you are registering for any other grades you may skip this step.
Step 2: Parents must have an active email address.
Step 3: Go to Ascender Parent Portal to create an account

Step 4: Click Create Account
Fill in the information needed and select next to finish.
Check your email for the email verification link
Click to verify the account in your email
Step 5: Once an account is created, you can begin the enrollment process.
The process will require you to upload the following documents:
• birth certificate
• social security card
• parent’s drivers license
• immunization records
• current copy of your light bill
- be sure to include your student’s first and last name in the description field.
Once you have completed the process, you will receive a verification message. You may opt to print the confirmation sheet but it is not required.
