Gold Card Program

Livingston ISD Senior Citizen Gold Card Program

If you are age 60 or older and live within the physical boundaries of Livingston Independent School District, the LISD Board of Trustees and staff invite you to apply for a Senior Citizen Gold Card!  This Gold Card will enable you to attend most district sponsored events and activities FREE of charge!  This includes home sporting events, plays, concerts, and musicals sponsored by Livingston ISD.  This does not include any events or activities sponsored by school groups or clubs, or other school districts (such as away games or events held outside of LISD).  The purpose of this program is to honor you for being a dedicated citizen in our community!  Your Gold Card never expires, as long as it’s still in one piece and readable!  However, if you ever need a replacement, please contact the Livingston ISD Communications Department.  Fill out the application  and get your Gold Card today!  We look forward to seeing you soon and we appreciate your continued support of Livingston ISD!

Please be aware that Gold Cards are reserved ONLY for individuals ages 60+ who live within the physical boundaries of Livingston Independent School District.

To verify residency within Livingston ISD, the District utilizes the Polk Central Appraisal District property search tool, using the address you have provided in this application.  If it is determined that you do not live within Livingston ISD, you will receive a letter by mail explaining that you do not meet the location requirement for Gold Card eligibility due to the address provided in your application not being located within the District.

If you are uncertain whether or not you live within Livingston Independent School District, please visit the Polk Central Appraisal District property search tool to search for your property/address.  The school district you live in will be listed under the Property Taxing Jurisdiction section when you view your property details.

Likewise, if you do not meet the age requirement of 60+ years of age, you will also receive a letter by mail explaining that you do not meet the age requirement for Gold Card eligibility.

If we confirm that you are eligible for the Gold Card Program, your Gold Card will be mailed to the address you provided in this application.  Please allow up to 10 business days (not including school breaks or holidays) to receive your Gold Card by mail.
